Becky Farley, a leading internationally renowned researcher, has chosen the European Parkinson and Fresco Academy to finally bring her applied program for Parkinson’s disease (modified for Exercise Sciences) in our country.

Live demonstrations, videos and an interactive instruction (Hands-on Workshops) will be used to deepen your Parkinson’s technique and knowledge, discuss practical exercises, as well as to illustrate the effectiveness of the US method.

Aims

In this course 4 objectives coexist:

  1. Explain the importance of movement as it is an essential pillar in maintaining the quality of life of a person with Parkinson’s;
  2. Provide skills and methodologies to adapt physical exercise to people with Parkinson’s;
  3. Combining the skills learned with a new perspective: it is not just the application of techniques but the importance of empathy in dealing with them;
  4. Group therapy: when and how to do it.

Course for graduates in Motor Sciences

The application of the techniques developed by Becky Farley demonstrates that it is possible to help people through physical exercise, in order to improve the quality of life of Parkinsonians using precise methods and targeted to the needs of the individual.

European Parkinson Training Centre in association with  Fresco Academy and Becky Farley, as well as with the support of the European Parkinson Disease Association , Neurofit Networks USA (Scientific Director: Dr. Becky Farley), is pleased to offer this program which has greatly improved life of people with Parkinson’s.
