We are not alone when facing illness

The metaphor of the illness as a journey (where, throughout the journey/illness, the traveler/patient is never alone and uses various services) is used to raise awareness among the participants about the encouraging effects of self-understanding in the relationship with others, meaning both the patient and the other specialists involved during the course of treatment.
